Fresh from our short film’s award-winning performance at the Feel the Reel Film Festival, where “Escape Room” won 2nd Best of the Fest, Best Screenplay, and Best Editing, we received a great promotional review on the Feel the Reel website. Reviewer Vlad discusses the previous films and shows which inspired “Escape Room”, including Final Destination, A Nightmare on Elm Street, Saw, and the TV series John Doe. He writes that Escape Room’s new take on these classic horror films makes him want to watch them again. He also mentioned that the The Hostess in “Escape Room” reminded him of The Mourner in John Doe, as both characters brilliantly planned their attacks, staying a step ahead of the heroes. Vlad complimented our director, Bessy Adut, on her directing and storytelling skills and said that the open ending of “Escape Room” is a great lead into a sequel.
