We have some more exciting news to share. We submitted our short film “Escape Room” to the White Unicorn International Film Festival for the month of July 2019 and we’re a finalist in the Women’s Film category!
The first screening will be held on August 11, 2019, beginning at 4 pm, at Rotary Sadan in Kolkata, India.
WUIFF is a monthly film festival which gives indie filmmakers like us the opportunity to contribute to world cinema. A portion of every submission fee is donated to a social cause and at the end of the year during the Annual Gala Fest of WUIFF the amount is handed over to the social organizations/NGOs.
This is a festival very dear to our hearts because we also want to support social causes through our work. Our director Bessy Adut wrote the script for “Escape Room” to help the fight against bullying and to promote friendship, diversity, and female empowerment. We are excited that there is a Women’s Film category and that some of the proceeds will go to social organizations. The WUIFF slogan is “Save Birds…Save Nature.” That’s something we can get behind!
