We may have finished the on-set work for our short film “Escape Room,” but a film isn’t really complete until it goes through the post-production and distribution stages. In these stages, we’ll do color correction, sound mix/design, polish our editing, compose music, and finally submit the film to film festivals, which have entrance fees. This is a crucial time for the film, because the effort we put into polishing “Escape Room” into an award-winning film can advance all our careers. In this industry, you’re only as good as your portfolio.
To finish post-production, we need extra funds. That’s why we’re going to make a fundraising video which will include short interviews with the cast and crew about the experience of creating “Escape Room.” We’ll be filming the video towards the end of July. When the time comes, we encourage you to contribute what you can and share the campaign with your film-loving family and friends.
Thank you to everyone who has been a part of this project. If we work together, we can make this epic. Remember, team work makes the dream work!
